What is Slurry Water?

Concrete slurry is an inert, nonhazardous byproduct of diamond grinding and concrete sawing. The water is introduced to the saw blades to increase their life expectancy, decrease dust emission, and increase worker safety. The byproduct of this construction process is slurry water. Contractors are required to collect and recycle this byproduct to ensure environmental protection.

Iron Rock Benefits

Iron Rock Recycling core mission is to ensure our waterways remain clean and rich with wildlife while allowing customers an efficient way to dispose of regulated waste. Our team of professionals make recycling and easy process by using our state of the art facility.

How We Treat Slurry Water

Our high-capacity treatment facility processes thousands of gallons daily for customers across California. We collect and process slurry water in our recycle facility centrally located in Elk Grove, CA. The process takes the slurry water through a complete separation, and solids are removed from the water leaving clean, clear water. This clean water can be safely disposed of or reused, and the solids get appropriately disposed of in a local facility
